Biography

Annie Feldmeier Adams born in Wisconsin to a German-Polish Roman Catholic
family with nine brothers and sisters—three whom are adopted (Belizian,
Vietnameseand African American).

Feldmeier Adams trained as a photographer (M.A. University of Minnesota;
M.F.A. Rhode Island School of Design) and now works in a variety of media,
including video, sound, and installation. She is best known for her installations,
which are intimately personal while reflecting a keen political consciousness.
